Decision Time

So I have a ball up and coming for school. I have been trying to find the perfect dress for a while. I ended up buying two from Urban Outfitters (one of my favourite shops). Though I am still deciding which one to wear. I am preferential to the coral one. I was wondering if guys could comment, and help me make my decision. I also just bought some Jeffrey Campbell Lita Boots in Black Distressed Leather which I have been wanting for ages.

I never used to wear a shirt with the buttons done up, but I have started to do it more now and I really like it. So here are a few photos of me doing so. Unfortunately the shirt isn't mine it is a friends! Enjoy.

The photos aren't very good but the best I could do at the time. I love all of these items and use these all the time. The bralette looks so nice with a top that has low cut sides. I love layering all the lace effect tops. I will try and do some photos of me wearing them.

Spring Summer 2012

After trawling through the trends for spring/summer. I decided which ones most apply to me and I am going to concentrate on those. 

I love sheer and I love lace. I already wear many items of clothing that incorporate this fabric. So I am going to embrace it even more this summer. I know crochet isn't really the same as lace but I have these amazing crochet pants from www.nastygal.com which will be so useful. Blocking colour is rather easy just throw a bunch of colourful clothing together and you have it. I don't really do this though so would be good fun to experiment with it. And I need more colour in the way that I dress. 

I have so many earrings that are hoopy or dangly so I am going to try and wear this a lot with my hair tied up for maximum effect. I don't really wear skirts that often but when I do I love it. I am definitely going to try and embrace this and search for some more online. 

Then there are wedges. I much prefer these to heels for some reason. I also love shoes that just have a platform but your foot is kept completely flat. I have a black pair of these from www.topshop.com that I wear.

I will post some pictures later of some of the items I have with me, unfortunately at school at the moment so this means there isn't that much, but I will try. 

 

New Identities

Paris Fashion Week:

Having never been to a fashion week, I find myself looking at the photos that just flow in every time. Ticking off in my head which ones i liked the most, what I would wear out of all of them or what I think is amazing but would never dare to wear. So here are some of my favourite designers and what I really liked.

Rick Owens.
Now I have quite a gothic sense of fashion. Meaning I wear quite a lot of black. Not all the time but most of the time. This is probably why I like Rick Owens designs so much. All the dark clothing and the layering. I did find the masks rather creepy though. I mean of course not all his clothing was dark. There was creams and beige and grey. Here are my favourites;

Balmain.

I loved all the texture going on, with the pearls and the tapestry effect. I was pining after half of this collection after seeing it. But I had to pick my select favourites, which I adore. I especially love the patterned trousers and of course the leather trousers, which are one of my all time loves. 

Of course there is a lot more that I loved but I don't have enough time to go through all of them. So here are a few from different designers.
